Sir Temperance

Instead of doing a ton of stuff for my 2-year, I'll do it now.
I joined YF in October 2008. Back then, I was basically alone in the world and decided to take ygo back up as something to keep my mind off of the hell I had to deal with every day. Upon arriving here, I donned a new***-ish persona, mostly because I was way too flamboyant and still had hope for the world. My how I have changed.
I started talking to a few pretty cool people. The first of which was Khaotic Angel, since he posted in my thread asking if there were any players near me. We made plans to go to locals together, but never did. I don't remember exactly how I started talking to a lot of the people I do now, but I remember that I was having a bad day and made a few sarcastic comments on some thread in the Vent. I guess that's how.
After talking to Jedah, FC, and the other YF coolguys, I started to mature. For better or for worse, I saw the world as the dark, dingy, piece of **** it truly is. Thus, Elite Temp was born.
I received Elite status the following new year. I felt kinda bad, because there were other guys that were here much longer than me, but I chugged a bottle of Jack and got over it. I had decent friends, at least enough to keep me sane. Unfortunately, around February, Jesse and I moved again, to Winchester. God I hated that place. The problem here was that we didn't have a stable Internet connection. So, I didn't get to see my YF as much as I needed to.
I stole a laptop from my ex-roommate (she asked me to fix it lol) and mooched off of my neighbor/manager's Internet connection. I was back and ready to tear some assholes apart. I continued my style of flamboyant posting, but with a twist. My persona evolved from using tons of exclamation points to being extremely lustful over every single male member. More than half of the community, I would never give a second look to, but it was a much needed change.
In July, Jesse and I broke up. My manager also moved away, taking her Internet with her. I was out of a place to live and out of an escape. I had no family in Winchester, and no job to get me back to my hometown. Luckily, my best friend moved in with his father not too long ago. I crashed with them and got a girlfriend. Yes, you could call this the "dark" part of my life. Girls didn't originally appeal to me, but I didn't really care. We broke up soon and I realized why I despised them so much.
I patched things up with Jesse and by August, we were back together. I had a new job and more money. Life was good. Soon enough, my friend's father was moving to Tennessee, and he needed a place to stay. So he and his girlfriend moved in with us. With the newfound income, we were able to afford an Internet connection, which was good, because I missed my friends. It was then that I met my friends I have now. Jonny, Jordan, Tammy, Kyle, Francesco, and many others. Everything was perfect.
Jesse got fed up with me around January 2010. He left, leaving me heartbroken. My friends were there and they helped me get through it. I was approached by Black Paladin, not too long after. He sent me a PM, asking if I would like to mod. I accepted and thus, Elite Temp evolved into his final evolution. I took on a large portion of site maintenance, giving a nicer look to the forum I loved so much. I met many more people by doing this. Most of which, save Pat Hoban, liked how I was doing things. I was learning, but also maintaining a nice persona.
We got back together in, March, was it? I can't remember. All I know is that I wanted him to go through an extreme amount of emotional pain. I led him on, doing everything he wanted me to, just to see his face. Finally, he believed me. I was in Louisville with my friend Jacob at the time he called me. My brother's ex-girlfriend told him a bunch of lies and had him believing that I was no good. He obviously called with the intention of leaving again, but I left him first. I told him all the things he did that I couldn't stand. His whorish nature around me, his terrible singing voice, his Mexican food farts, his personality, and finally, his low IQ.
He was devastated and I had accomplished what I set out to do. I moved in with my parents and met a new guy. Jack is his name. We've got a date today, actually. Anyway, the point is, none of this would be possible without the friends I met via YF. They're the ones that inspired me to make the site better and gain the confidence I needed to finally end things with Jesse. The people I have talked to on here have changed my life for the better. They have become an irreplaceable part of my life and I wouldn't trade them for the world.

Ah, Kurono. You continually pushed me to make more terrible fanfiction. I had fun doing it, though. You're one of my best friends on here. Without you, I never would've made Splash Attack. Scratch that. We never would've made Splash Attack. I enjoy the time I have spent talking to you, no matter what the subject. You always seem to know how to make me smile. I hope we continue to talk, even after October.
Kyle Witty
Toxicbby. You're a really cool guy. We went through a bit of a rough patch, if you even want to call it that. We like basically all the same things and I'm so glad I got you into Pokemon. It was me, right? You make my day better all the time and I wouldn't rather it be any other way. I don't see you on AIM anymore, but hopefully you'll get back on and say "hey" every once in a while.
Jonny Langham
We talked constantly when we first 'met'. We don't too much anymore, though. You're another really cool guy. We've talked about all kinds of things. Most of which isn't important, but the main thing is we had fun. I remember the team we made together. Temp's Angels. It was short-lived, but it was meant as a joke team from the beginning. Here's to another year of random mtg convos.
Brad Richardson
You know who you are. I've had some of the most life-changing conversations with you. While you are one of the many reasons I'm where I am today, you are certainly one of my best friends. I may never reach the status you have achieved over the years, but dammit Brad, I'm a gay man, not a doctor! I hope to have many more conversations with you.
Francesco Jackson
Yeah, I don't remember your last name. So you get Jackson. Deal with it. You're a really awesome guy. You've helped me with the issues I had with not only the site, but with life itself. You've talked me out of making a bunch of bad decisions and for that, sir, I thank you. <3

You guys have given me an amazing opportunity. For that, I am eternally grateful. Never before have I modded such a large site. Thank you for the opportunity. I will not let you down.
