Oh god I can't freaking wait, I will be at the midnight release in my town if its the last thing I do. I dislike how we had to wait a while to see the whole thing, but at least we get more out of it

I enjoyed the first seven movies. I never, ever say that; not even about Star Trek. I'm not squealing about this movie, but I'll watch it. The films are a bit cheesy at times, but also legitimately amusing (mostly Snape's interactions with everyone). I didn't read the books, so I don't have a reason to be disappointed.

I don't see why everyone's so excited. So we get to see Harry die onscreen, ok. We also get to see one of the weasley twins die, as well as Lupin and Tonks.

Basically, don't go hoping for sunshine and rainbows. There are none.

Watching Part 1 & Part 2 together would run for about that long, but the second part by itself is just a little over two hours.

Why would you not use spoiler tags? The book has been out forever yes, but this is about the movie and I'm sure some people really don't want such things spoiled for them.

Actually on the first page Jedah said he for example hasn't read the books, so we don't all know what's coming.

He and whoever else can't be assed to read the books though. Whatever the hell that incoherent sentence means lol.

It's coming.
I really want to see how they're going to put everything in perspective. Like
The ruined Hogwarts, all the dead friends, etc.
If they just show everything for a brief moment, or ruin it like say, one of the others.

My useless note to self on Facebook was to never ever go looking for a job at Hoyts on the release day of a Harry potter movie ever again.

I read all the books in Dutch, I saw all the movies and now I'm re-reading the books in English.
Most people say they're dissapointed when they first read the book and then see the movie, because the book's so much better. I have to disagree. I love the books because they lead you to a whole other world, but the movies have great effects which make you forget how things will go, so you stay suprised.
I cried when I finished the last book, just as 1 saw the last movie, because it hits to you that it's the end of something you've been following for so long.. I find J.K. Rowling amazing and I do hope an 8 book comes out! :)

In the scene where Harry confronts Snape in Hogwarts, you can clearly see that when he appears he's suddenly wearing a Hogwarts gown, but then as soon as his headaches from Voldemort start, he's back in his jacket.

Movies will never be as good as the books to those of us with imagination. ^ (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u4sUPvDZfog)

You're right. Someone's imagination is greater than a movie. I know EVERY movie (not only HP's) has flaws. I was just saying that I don't consider the movie to be bad. It's different and still suprising. I thinks the movie Twilight is horrible and a disgrace for Stephanie Meyer's books. Maybe you'll understand better now what I meant?
