I keep hearing at locals that this type will be broken and would like some input on it. Thus I picked up a DT Ultra Laval Dragon and heard it'll be very hard to get when it comes out. [payed only 10$ at the time for it]

I'm personally not a fan of the archetype. Also, the card's value will probably (most definitely) decrease when it gets reprinted.

Because it's useful in various meta decks and because you can use it with Debris Dragon and Snowman Eater.
DT's are usually more expensive than their non-DT counterpart, and always for Hidden Arsenal stuff. That reason I believe is mainly because of its rarity.

I didn't say they weren't still expensive. I'm saying that they were more expensive than before their Hidden Arsenal was released.

IMO Best way for Laval is with Flamvell, but I'd have to make a deck in order to try it.

I've been playing the deck on DN and you need a lot of lavals that are not out yet here in the US. The only flamvell you need is firedog.
I currently have laval deck with all the DT lavals out right now, and it's good but not consistent at all. But, firedog makes plays along with rekindling.
While I don't feel like I can make a proper judgement call on whether or not the deck will be good once all of them are released, I am fairly certain they will not be good with just the DT05 cards. However Lavalval Dragon is a must at 2 if you play the deck. The card is beastly, but I think it will come down in price a lot, thus I got both mine for less than 10. However, my locals thinks the archetype is going to suck, and is focusing in gem-knights.

I never really liked Lavals. I tested them on DN in various builds, including LS, and Flamvell. I just didn't love the style. And htey didn't win any games either.

I only lost with them once, and I am playing straight lavals save for firedog.
I haven't played ranked though. But they can synchro like crazy to take care of anything your opponent throws at you.
