Well, you have to wonder: is it the diminishing quality of the posts, or of the members.

I remember spending hours drawing, writing, or piecing together original stuff on Alpha Syndrome, RareHunters, YF, or similar sites, just for the humour of being able to post it. That kind of effort was applauded back then. Now it seems members are content to recycle the same screencaps from My Little Pony, and asserting that it's totally for adults. From what I've watched, there's little that's noteworthy about the show, and I'm 90% sure the reason they're so obnoxious about it is simply to piss off people who don't also follow the show; making the whole thing a giant troll. It's very similar to the Digimon or Pokemon fads, only with far less substance behind it.

Either way, I think we can agree that Nova's ability to browse google images for a picture isn't very impressive, and certainly doesn't merit its own thread.

This reminds me of the convo I had on the phone last night with Takeo and Sweetie Belle where they had the nerve to trash me because I'm still reading the final Bleach saga that isn't being made into Anime! I told the 2 buffoons that: "All Anime has pretty much originated from Manga! Your basically watching moving Manga with sound you jackasses!"

They called me a comic geek when the last time either of them read any book that didn't have female nudity in it of any kind was for a high school book report most likely! -.-

a lot of the kids who sport the whole "bronie" idea thought it would be cool to take an idea that flourished on /b/ and bring it to other forums. reddit and the LoL forums got hit pretty hard with this whole movement. the show is very childish, I've watched a few episodes when the fad first circulated. i agree with you that there is nothing adult about it. i find the people who mindlessly follow this movement to be very immature and are creating a big deal about it just to feel special once in their life. this daycare-core should be purges along with the people who follow it.

I'm sure they do, but most people don't act nearly that obnoxiously over a children's TV show. It's the same reason people get annoyed with kids at locals who "duel in the shadow realm" and act out the show. It's fine in small doses of crazy awesome, but Bronies typically pour it down people's throats until they gag and die via horrible rainbow-filled asphyxiation.
